migrating from local domain using ad and gpo's to google identity and device management

Looking to migrate from a local domain, removing the server and then using google identity and device management for all the local computers, trying to find any documentation for this or even any tools that might be available.  We already use google workspace for mail and files.

If you have a large number of users, you can use a third-party sync tool to automate migrating between your local directory and Google Workspace. 

Take a look at CloudFuze, Gs Richcopy 360, and GoodSync.

If you're using Active Directory you can use Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS) to sync your users, groups and OUs directly into Google Workspace.
