Thank you for expressing interest in the Republican National Committee (RNC) Internship Program. The RNC is always looking for interested undergraduate students to serve as interns at our headquarters in Washington, DC.
We aim to create a top-tier internship program that provides marketable skills, lifelong connections, and an enjoyable experience to a select group of high-achieving students, who in turn contribute measurable value to the RNC’s operations and stay connected with the organization long after their last day as an intern.
The RNC’s internship program is intended for undergraduate students and preference is given to juniors and seniors. Candidates are required to hold a 3.0 GPA or higher, and must be a registered Republican voter.
Applications for both Spring and Fall are accepted on a rolling basis and there is no official deadline. However, in order to ensure a timely review of your application materials, we recommend you submit your application materials by the suggested application date below.

The RNC’s Summer Internship Program is the Eisenhower Internship Program. This is a structured, full-time internship, and space is limited. Program enrollees will receive a biweekly stipend, as well as access to weekly professional development sessions and regular group outings to historical sites in the D.C. area. The program traditionally starts the first week of June and ends the last week of July.

Work alongside staff responsible for strategic messaging, print media, radio-television bookings, and the GOP-TV film studio.
State Party Strategies
Work alongside staff handling spoken and written correspondence with voters and outside organizations.
Counsel’s Office
Work alongside staff responsible for legal and administrative procedures.
Data
Work alongside staff responsible for the voter file and predicative modeling for elections.
Digital
Work alongside staff responsible for online fundraising, testing and analytics, graphic design, and digital content across gop.com and social media channels.
Finance
Work alongside staff responsible for fundraising initiatives and donor relations.
Human Resources
Work alongside staff responsible for administrative and accounting procedures.
Member Services
Work alongside staff directly serving the 168 members governing the RNC.
Network Operations
Work alongside staff responsible for facilitating and maintaining technological needs and network safety.
Political
Work alongside staff responsible for the national field program, strategic initiatives, and GOTV programs.
Research
Work alongside staff responsible for producing and housing research on past and current events.
Technology
Work alongside staff responsible for building and maintaining multiple large-scale web applications, web service APIs and data warehouses that help reach tens of millions of users nationwide.
