You might have noticed recently that Katie Holmes is well on her way to becoming a bona fide style icon. Last summer, the Dawson's Creek star showed the perfect relaxed and comfortable fit. And just last month, she went all Sopranos on us with a big coat, shiny chains, and a stand out pair of Gucci loafers. And if that wasn't enough to get her on your streetwear moodboard, her latest fit definitely will.
Yesterday, the Ohio-born actress was spotted on the streets of New York City running some errands. Up top, she wore a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses, and complemented this with a dark brown tee. She then layered this with a shearling-lined bomber jacket from Shoreditch Ski Club. Founded in London in 2018, hype surrounding this label has absolutely skyrocketed over the past year or two. A firm-favourite among hikers (and those who pretend they hike), it's essentially Arc'teryx but levelled even further up.
Down below, she jumped into some navy track pants and the Adidas Samba in the ‘Core Black’ colourway. This is a classic combo that we've been seeing a lot of recently. It's the kinda fit that you'd find in lookbooks from Aimé Leon Dore or Sporty & Rich, and it's one that all the cool kids just can't get enough of these days. Austin Butler has been seen in something similar, Timothée Chalamet is a well-known Samba wearer. If these guys love it, you probably should as well.
