The Kith x Clarks x Adidas Gazelle ‘Grey’ isn't like any other sneaker out there. Just like Ronnie Fieg's take on the Samba last year, it's a three-way collab made by three of the industry's biggest names. However, unlike Ronnie Fieg's take on the Samba last year, this one's going to be even harder to cop. Yep, you read that right. While 2023's pair actually released to the public, 2024's pair will only be available to some of the world's most hardcore Kith stans.
Taking on the Gazelle Indoor silhouette (which is more lifestyle-y and less athletic-y), Kith's version drops the usual all-leather construction in favour of some very premium-looking grey suede. The heel badge and Three Stripe branding are both decked out in creamy nubuck, and “Gazelle” is debossed across lateral sidewall, just in case you needed a reminder.
Soft cotton laces tie everything together, and all of this rests on top of a chunky crepe rubber midsole that has been swiped straight off of popular Clarks models like the Trek Cup and the Wallabee. All of this is then packed in a special Adidas shoebox, and it comes with some equally-as-special accessories, which is always nice.
If you want this graily trainer in your collection, unfortunately it's not going to be as simple as just queuing up and keeping your fingers crossed. The Kith x Clarks x Adidas Gazelle ‘Grey’ is set to release exclusively through the Kith app on January 26, with an even wider drop expected in the very near future. These are one of the best sneakers of the year, and we're only one month in.
