Emma Roberts just got a holidate for the rest of her life.
In a new Instagram post, the Holidate star revealed that she and her boyfriend, Cody John, are engaged. The Nickelodeon alum spilled the news with a selfie that saw her dressed in a pale pink baby doll dress with her arms wrapped around the fellow actor.
As she rested her hand against her chin, Roberts gave followers a glimpse at her shiny new sparkler, which appeared to be a round cut diamond set on a golden band. For his part, John wore a stone blue button up, and he and Roberts smiled as they posed in front of a rustic field.

“Putting this here before my mom tells everyone ❤️,” Roberts wrote in the caption.
The soon-to-be-wed couple have yet to reveal when they officially started dating, however they confirmed their relationship to the world in August 2022, when John shared a black-and-white photo to Instagram, which saw him and Roberts sharing a kiss on a yacht. “Sweet sweet,” he captioned the romantic snap.
Just a couple days before sharing the news of their engagement, Roberts gave a rare snapshot of their relationship during an interview with People. Turns out, the American Horror Story star and her Hollywood beau went through quite the rollercoaster of emotions while watching The Iron Claw.
“I watched the movie The Iron Claw with my boyfriend, and the two of us were sobbing,” she revealed. “It was just a disaster of crying and then laughing at each other for crying, which made us cry even harder.”
Before dating John, Roberts was in a three-year relationship with actor and musician Garrett Hedlund. The pair share a son, named Rhodes, 3.
