Queen Letizia—ever an inspiration to us with her chic, modern royal style—is showing us exactly how to dress to beat those end-of-summer blues.
The Spanish royal has been enjoying a luxurious summer in the island of Mallorca with husband King Felipe VI and his family. And, while doing so, she has been letting us in on her effortlessly elegant vacation wardrobe.
On Sunday, the king and queen, as well as Felipe’s mother, Queen Sofía, were seen arriving at Mia restaurant in Palma, a lively city and seaport in the southwest part of the Spanish island. For the family dinner, Letizia pulled out a lovely white and pink floral halterneck dress. The piece was sleeveless and featured a flowing skirt that reached just above the royal’s ankles. Its lively graphic print was of flowers in bloom.
Letizia kept things simple for the evening, pairing her dress only with strappy beige sandals with gold studs, and dangly gold flower earrings.
Felipe coordinated with her vacation wardrobe, opting for a white linen shirt, navy pants, and matching sneakers. Meanwhile, Queen Sofía wore a silky red top, white loose trousers, red alpargatas, and layers of necklaces.
Letizia followed her same no-fuss outfit formula days prior, to host a dinner for authorities at the Marivent Palace, also in Palma de Mallorca. Then, she chose a boho shirtdress with a plunging V-neckline and an abstract, painterly pattern in orange, white, and black, with dashes of gold. She styled the airy midi dress with another pair of strappy sandals, this time in braided golden leather, and accessorized with large gold hoop earrings.
