Hugh Grosvenor, 7th Duke of Westminster, is marrying his fiancée Olivia Henson on Friday 7 June 2024 at Chester Cathedral. The couple, who announced their engagement in April 2023, will say "I do" in front of 400 guests at what has been dubbed the high-society wedding of the year. Prince William is attending and will play the role of usher on his friend's special day.
Hughie, as he is known amongst friends, made headlines this year for being the richest person in the UK under the age of 40. He boasts a fortune of £10.1 billion, having inherited his wealth, his family's property portfolio and company, and the Grosvenor ancestral seat, Eaton Hall, in 2016 when his father Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack.
Hugh and Olivia are based in London but plan to move up north following their wedding.
