The Shiznit‘s annual takedown of all the films in contention for Oscars hasn’t disappointed.

The posters that have been given an honest remix include Joker – leading this year's Oscar contenders with 11 nominations – as well as The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which followed close behind with 10.

The Irishman’s poster references his controversial remarks on Marvel films, which sparked debate among film fans in 2019.

Little Women, which saw Greta Gerwig get snubbed in the Best Director category, Le Mans ’66 (known in the US as Ford v Ferrari) and Jojo Rabbit also featured.

Le Mans ’66 poster referenced the fact that there are still many people who don’t realise Christian Bale is British – as evidenced when he recently appeared on BBC Breakfast.
