TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department released new information about a deadly crash that happened in the area of Mark and Valencia Road Saturday, June 29.

PCSD says 73-year-old Debby Bazan died as a result of her injuries from the crash.

25-year-old Da’Quan Cain was arrested.

PCSD says Cain was driving a Chevrolet Equinox west on Valencia Road at approximately 96 MPH when he ran the red light at Mark and Valencia.

Deputies say Cain swerved left to avoid a collision with a vehicle that was legally within the intersection, crossed the center of the road, and collided with two other vehicles.

The new information led to Cain facing felony charges of manslaughter, failure to stop for a collision involving death/serious injury, causing death by moving violation, and criminal damage.
