Mariners mindset: What will they do ahead of the trade deadline?

It's hard to believe, but the trade deadline in Major League Baseball is just over a month away.

While the days leading up to the July 30 deadline can often be the most busy, the Mariners may make a move sooner depending on how other teams fare in the time between now and the end of July.

Now, the conventional wisdom says the Mariners will try to acquire more offensive firepower with their plethora of top-100 prospects, but certainly a bullpen ravaged by injury could use a boost as well.
