How can mapping help solve social, economic and environmental problems? Come find out at the NC State Center for Geospatial Analytics Master of Geospatial Information Science and Technology (MGIST) Digital Symposium and Professional Showcase on Friday, Dec. 16, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. in the Hunt Library’s Teaching and Visualization Lab.

MGIST graduating students will present digital posters and web-based demonstrations of their capstone projects. Members of the geospatial community at NC State and beyond—including student peers, alumni, faculty, and staff from across the university, and our community and industry partners—are encouraged to attend. Organizers encourage a social atmosphere and hope to foster networking and open discussion.
