The Open Knowledge Center (OKC) advises the Libraries and the NC State community on issues of scholarly communication and copyright related to the Libraries services and collections. 

  •   How do I get there?

    Brickyard Entrance

    Elevator or Stairs

    • Enter the Hill Library from the Brickyard entrance.
    • Go through the library gates and turn right.
    • Continue towards the reading room and the elevator bay and stairs will be on your left. 
    • Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor.
    • Turn left after exiting the elevator bay or stairwell and continue straight to the end of the building.
    • There will be a hallway on your left to enter the East Wing.
    • Enter the East Wing and continue until the first hallway on your right.
    • Turn right and continue down the hallway.
    • The Open Knowledge Center is on your right opposite the next hallway.

    Hillsborough St. Entrance

    Elevator or Stairs

    • Enter the Hill Library from the Hillsborough St. entrance.
    • Go straight through the gates and turn left.
    • Continue down the hallway until you reach the stairs and elevator.
    • Take the stairs or elevator to the first floor.
    • Continue straight through the lobby until the carpet ends.
    • Turn left down the short hallway.
    • Stairs and an elevator will be on your right.
    • Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.
    • Turn left. The Open Knowledge Center is across the hallway.
