About This Workshop

This hands-on workshop is designed to empower participants with effective strategies and tools for organizing research projects using Google's suite of applications. Participants will learn how to leverage the power of Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets to streamline their research process and enhance productivity.

Through interactive activities, attendees will discover techniques for creating structured shared drives, establishing naming conventions for files and folders, and setting up literature review databases. Additionally, they will explore the use of working documents with tables of contents, outlines, and built-in features like links and bookmarks to facilitate seamless navigation and retrieval of research materials.

Participants will also gain insights into broader organizational practices, such as backwards planning, utilizing calendars for task management, and effectively balancing research with other commitments. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have acquired practical skills and strategies to maintain a well-organized research workflow, enabling them to focus on content development and analysis while minimizing time spent on administrative tasks.
