Recently, I was asked to comment on how all-electric aircraft could impact the air charter aka regional air mobility market at the Air Charter Summit sponsored by NATA (National Air Transportation Association) in Oklahoma City. The summit provided a great cross-section of perspectives on the drivers of the future of air charter. We at Bye Aerospace are pleased to be part of the conversation as some of our clients have contributed to our over 890 aircraft backlog with orders for their air charter business. While our initial focus is on the training market, it's not at all a stretch to see increasing demand for private charter travel rather than suffer through the increasingly, highly inconvenient, crowded, time-consuming traditional airport travel experience. With up to 80 percent lower operating costs, eFlyer (all-electric) 4-seat aircraft can one-day free travelers from all this, and provide a private, quiet, cost-effective way to get to their nearby desired flight destinations. Thank you NATA for the opportunity!

Great addition to our growing order book from an important regional air mobility customer. Hopscotch Air is an ideal air taxi application for the eFlyer 4 - sleek, fast, with an full 4-seat capacity, plus luggage. Electric propulsion translates to 80% lower operating costs, a significant business advantage while generating no CO2 with little noise. Typical mission segments are 170 nm, well inside of the IFR range plus FAA reserves for the next generation eFlyer 4. Thank you to Andrew Schmertz, CEO of Hopscotch Air for sharing in our vision, and good work to Rod Zastrow, our new CEO.

Happy 2024 New Year! In 2023 hard work by the engineering team resulted a industry-leading milestones achieved with the FAA. Customer response was record-breaking in 2023: We gained 410 eFlyer's to our existing customer backlog! Over the eFlyer program history we have pioneered our way through many stages of rigorous engineering and an industry-1st FAA process. Over several years of this effort we utilized our eFlyer 2 developmental prototype to test technology, various hardware configurations, and validate predicted performance and economics. With key results gained, production-conformed design engineering followed. Our goal now is to finish this process, starting with focus on Serial 001, and begin delivering the new, high-tech, electric eFlyer to our great customers.

We have begun a media outreach and thank "Skies Magazine" for their coverage. Our engineering team worked closely with the FAA over many months to reach acceptance on the eFlyer 2's Functional Hazard Assessment, (or "FHA"). Due to the new, unique and novel nature of our entire electric propulsion and storage systems, the FHA process and conclusions were particularly detailed. The FHA is a key certification milestone for the eFlyer 2, and another "first" in the general aviation industry. Many thanks and "Well done" to all.
