Big news! We're in the running for 'National Bed Retailer of the Year', as part of the annual 2024 Bed Industry Awards! The finalists were announced by The National Bed Federation (NBF) yesterday, and Simon Williams, Head of Marketing and Membership for the NBF, has said "Becoming a finalist is an achievement in itself, and they should be very proud of themselves." We certainly are! The winner will be announced on the 24th September, so keep those fingers crossed that we win! 🤞

Today is International Day of Charity, and we thought, what better time to celebrate the incredible impact our amazing team has made through our charity work over the past year? Together, we’ve helped raise a whopping £709,000 for BBC Children in Need through our ""Give Me Five"" campaign and our colleagues' awesome fundraising efforts throughout the year. This money goes directly to supporting children and young people affected by mental health challenges, funding projects that really make a difference in their lives. In June, our Marketing team laced up their hiking boots and successfully took on the 3 peaks challenge, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and SADs. But that’s not all! Our colleagues have been using their paid volunteer days to support causes close to their hearts and make a real difference in our local communities. We're passionate about giving back to the communities we call home, which made it such a pleasure to meet the amazing team at SNAP (Special Needs Action Project), a local Inverness charity we proudly support through BBC Children in Need. We were beyond excited to deliver some DFS furniture, and the best part? Seeing the smiles on so many kids' faces as they enjoyed their new sofa in their special playroom! A big thanks to everyone involved for making this happen. 👏

We’re a company that plays to win, so we thought - why not host our own Olympics 2.0? We didn’t quite have the budget for the real thing, so sunny Doncaster it was! 😄 After a passionate people strategy packed morning and an inspiring colleague experience brainstorm session, we got straight into team bonding - with a healthy dose of competition. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and took part. We may be a little bit biased, but we’re convinced our People team is the best around!
