Earlier this week to celebrate the launch of our AW24 collection, Dune London HQ was filled with cherry sweets, chocolate cupcakes from Lola's Cupcakes and even winning scratchcards for a few lucky team members!

London born, globally worn our AW24 Collection draws inspiration from the diverse and vibrant city we are proud to call home. A celebration of our design heritage the latest collection reflects the season’s trends, whilst remaining true to our signature style. Drawing on archive prints, heritage fabrics and bespoke detailing, our unique handwriting and distinctive brand codes lie at the heart of our design. Highlights include the return of our house leopard print, our sculptural new comma heel, an XL version of our woven Deliberate bag and our hero colourway night cherry.

We caught up with our men’s buying manager Louise Blair to talk about the skills you need to pursue a career in buying and how her love of fashion led to her dream job.

Last week we hosted our SS25 International Franchise Conference. It was great to welcome our partners from India, Malta, Libya, Algeria, Pakistan, Philippines and Serbia to view our exciting new SS25 product ranges, and to start planning the edit that will be perfect for their individual markets.  This is an exciting time of year, as we come together and collaborating with our partners to discuss future opportunities and share strategic plans. 

SUPer Stars is a new programme designed here at Dune London HQ, to support training and development of business acumen for members of our store team to become Managers of the future. Last week our first team came up to Head Office from across the country to spend time with key areas of our business and build a plan around their individual career development.    By nurturing this talent pool home grown Managers of the future are identified and supported to realise personal and professional goals. Creating a talent pipeline for future positions.

We are pleased to share some great news on our Ashford store, who has just won ‘The McArthur Glen – Small Store of the Year Award’   Congratulations to Justine, The Store Manager and her team for this incredible achievement.    This is the 4th Annual Brand Award Ceremony for McArthurGlen Group and Dune London Ashford have been shortlisted for the last 2 years. The competition runs from June to June every year and this award is for June 2023 through to June 2024 time period.    There is a phenomenal 110 brands within the Ashford Outlet Centre – so to be shortlist twice and to win this year, is a great achievement.   Dune London Ashford were also nominated for Best Conversion Growth.   Well Done, Dune London Ashford

We are excited to share our first 'Rising Stars of 2024'    Rising Stars is a Dune London program to support our Retail Sales Advisors with mentors and coaches with the aim to support them to become Retail Supervisors of our future.    We welcomed 10 members, who travelled from Livingston to Jersey and from London to Newcastle for 6 weeks, where they explored behavioural coaching in commerciality and people management and learned industry and product knowledge. Closing the programme, all our participants completed core competencies and planned further personal development.    A huge well done to all who took part. We look forward to seeing you take this experience back to your home stores.
