We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with the Rotary Club of Wichita in bringing the Sunflower Meadow to the upcoming destination playscape. 🌻 This innovative playground is designed for children ages 2 to 5 and offers an interactive journey through the life cycle of Kansas’ state flower. With elements like bee bouncers, leaf climbers, and balance logs, the Sunflower Meadow will inspire young minds through play and discovery. We extend our gratitude to Rotary Club of Wichita for their dedication to community service and support of our mission to inspiring a deeper interest in science and technology through creative and fun experiences for all. https://lnkd.in/gxAF5gnE #CommunityPartnerships #EarlyChildhoodEducation #RotaryClubWichita #ExplorationPlace #LandscapeArchitecture

Look who stopped by to check out TeamLab with his family! Blake Bell, three-time Super Bowl champion and Exploration Place member, spent the morning exploring with us. Blake generously donated some of his Kansas City Chiefs gear to represent the importance of teamwork in sports in this collaborative, inspiring space. Thank you, Blake! (Shout out to his mom, Sherry, for helping with logistics!) Have you visited TeamLeab yet? We'd love to see your pictures and hear what activity your family enjoyed best! #KansasCityChiefs #BlakeBell #SuperBowlChampion #ExplorationPlace #WichitaKS

Exploration Place, in coordination with the City of Wichita Kansas, would like to inform the community about temporary closures of the riverfront pathway for construction and maintenance work. The closures will occur in two phases: • Phase 1: August 5 - 19, 2024 • Phase 2: August 26 - September 15, 2024 During the closure periods, a clearly marked detour route will be in place to guide foot and bike traffic safely around the construction zones. Signage will be posted to ensure the safety and convenience of all pathway users. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask for your understanding that the temporary disturbance is part of a plan to create a more beautiful and usable riverfront space for the community. We truly appreciate the public's patience and cooperation during this time. For updates and more information, please visit https://lnkd.in/gbVPFuDc
