A leading Thai manufacturer of industrial chain drives, attachment chains, and large-size conveyor chains recognized the critical importance of component durability and functional performance of these power transmission products. Tensile testing methods ensure that the chains can withstand the forces they will encounter during operation without undue elongation or breaking. Compression methods verify the chains' ability to endure compressive forces, preventing deformation and ensuring consistent performance. #qualityassurance #testing #engineering #testingsolutions #forcetesting #universaltestingmachine Mecmesin | Automotive chain drive components tension and compression testing https://hubs.la/Q02KckJp0

Attractive packaging must meet its performance specifications as any product must. Lipsticks and other cosmetics should perform reliably time after time, application after application. Torque to turn a propelling barrel or pull-out force of a brush dispensing cap should be easy to achieve yet feel secure and be of the right tactile quality in the hand. Hit your cosmetics packaging challenges with both barrels! #casestudy #cosmeticspackaging #qualityassuance #forcetesting #torquetesting Mecmesin | Lipstick tube force and torque testing https://hubs.la/Q02Jz79m0

Lipstick application should allow a smooth and even layering of the colour. A firm press to achieve this should not cause the bullet to break under the lateral force. Cosmetics formulation laboratories can implement quality assurance tests to optimise break resistance with whatever pigments, waxes and other ingredients are chosen. #casestudy #nationallipstickday #qualityassurance #materials #forcetesting #universaltestingmachine Mecmesin | Lipstick bullet break resistance testing https://hubs.la/Q02J1ZD80

#feelgoodfriday - Our very own Philip Haines, Technical Sales Engineer at Mecmesin, and his fiancé Michelle, recently completed the Guildford Pretty Muddy 5k, part of Cancer Research UK (CRUK)'s Race for Life series. Phil and Michelle took on this muddy challenge in memory of Michelle's mum, who passed away in June 2022, Phil's nan, who died in August 2023, and a good friend who lost their battle with cancer in February this year. Their dedication and determination to honour their loved ones through this race is inspiring. Thanks to the incredible support from colleagues, friends, and family, Phil and Michelle raised over £500 for life-saving cancer research. Their efforts remind us all of the importance of coming together to support a cause that affects so many. #cancerresearch #prettymuddy #charity

Our Special Engineering team often designs and manufactures custom fixtures to improve the testing processes of our customers. Adjustable jigs for varying test specimen sizes, efficiency improvers, or fixtures that are unique to the product. Single-use sachets in the medical field or food industry rely on seams that must withstand packing, storing and handling without crushing loads rupturing the seal. #tbt #casestudy #qualityassurance #testingsolutions #universaltestingmachine #medicalpackaging #foodpackaging https://hubs.la/Q02HMrSS0
