The NIH, as part of its efforts to expand the Undiagnosed Diseases Network’s (UDN) geographic coverage and better reach individuals in the U.S. who experience health disparities, awarded 12 clinical site U01 Cooperative Agreement awards to serve as Diagnostic Centers of Excellence (DCoE) in the Phase III Network. The UDN is a research program that combines basic and clinical research services to understand health conditions for individuals and their families who have sought a clinical diagnosis without success. It has facilitated diagnoses for more than 650 people in the past decade. https://go.nih.gov/eOFaYGe
