We are excited to announce the release of Voice of the Online Learner 2024! We are honored to carry on the tradition of this insightful industry report, which was previously published by Wiley University Services (now part of the Risepoint family) and is now in its 13th year. Online learners continue to impress us with their resilience, their pragmatism, and their incredible ability to juggle jobs and families while advancing their knowledge to move forward in their careers. We were intrigued to read the latest on this year’s “Changing Landscape of Higher Education” (CHLOE) report, as covered by Inside Higher Ed. The section on cost stood out to us in particular: only 15% of institutions are charging less for online program delivery, and 13% are actually charging more than they would for a similar on-campus program. Support from university faculty plays a crucial role in a student's online education journey. Jade Jones, who earned her MSEd from Southern Oregon University said "I feel like I have so much support from my advisors, from my professors. They want to see me succeed. When I'm having difficulties, they communicate with me, whether that's an email or a phone call. They make it very personable. Education empowers students to achieve their goals and inspire others to reach new heights. Alexis Bernard who graduated with her MS in Cyberpsychology from Norfolk State University said “I didn't really see too many people [in Cyberpsychology] that looked like me, primarily because of being a black woman. ...
