  • We’re kicking off the ABC15 Arizona 2nd Chance Bike Drive with Earnhardt Auto Centers! For the vulnerable guests we serve, having a bike is more than just a set of wheels. A bike can be the difference between going to school or not, unemployment and employment, retrieving groceries or going hungry, accessing health care or going without treatment. That’s why every bike donation counts, because each bike is an opportunity to improve someone’s life. Every donated bike will go directly to those who need it most, including families, children, shelter residents, and guests experiencing homelessness. Help us provide reliable transportation to those we serve! Find your closest location to drop off your bike or make a monetary donation at 👉 abc15.com/bike

  • It's official—the first residents began moving today into our new 100-bed transitional housing facility called De Paul Manor! We are absolutely overjoyed. Our residents were greeted with warmth and care, finding their beds adorned with "Sweet Dreams" cards, made with love by our dedicated volunteers. Each resident also received a welcome kit filled with essential items like towels and hygiene products, also assembled by our committed volunteers. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make sure our residents felt both comfortable and cared for from day one! We look forward to the stories of resilience that will emerge from De Paul Manor as residents find stability and housing!

  • We are excited for our future De Paul Manor residents moving in this month, who will be walking into dorm wings equipped with essential furniture such as: A sturdy armoire, a comfortable bed, and a desk! All 100 armoires, beds, and desks, have been custom-built by WELD HOUSE, a company known for its unique, durable commercial welding pieces. This furniture will help create a welcoming environment for our residents as they start their journeys toward stable and permanent housing! You too can help us make a meaningful impact and offer hope to those in need by supporting our 100 Days of Summer campaign, with this month's focus on shelter! Your support will help keep families at risk of homelessness in their homes, assist more shelter residents in transitioning to permanent housing, and provide essential relief from the heat. Always a pleasure to welcome the Consulado General de México en Phoenix to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Phoenix. During their visit, they invited Mexican and Mexican-American children to participate in the "XXVII Concurso Dibujo Infantil: Este es mi México." This contest encourages kids to use their imagination and talent to illustrate the Mexico they love. Thank you for visiting us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Thank you for all the support, Jorge Mendoza Yescas!

  • WE DID IT! 🎉 What started out as a goal to permanently rehouse 2,025 people experiencing homelessness by 2025 has become a reality for SVdP as we have surpassed our “Housing 2025” goal a half year ahead of schedule and rehoused 2,061 people!! This milestone was made possible by our dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners—thank you for your unconditional support! This achievement not only calls for celebration but also instills hope, as our rehousing model proves effective. Notably, the Maricopa Association of Governments reported a 17% reduction in homelessness in Phoenix this past year. It's a reduction only possible with collaboration across community partners, but SVdP is proud to be a small but mighty factor in moving people off our streets and into housing. Hear from SVdP's Rob & Melani Walton Endowed CEO, Shannon Clancy, and Chief of Staff, Pat Donaldson, as they reflect on the success of Housing 2025 and our new goal to rehouse 250 more individuals before 2025!
