LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Billing Manager for a growing client in the service industry, based in High Point, NC. The AR & Billing Manager will oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) across multiple locations, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and efficient use of working capital. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a critical part in supporting management decisions with accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on management of AR and billing operations across all locations
Supervise and lead a team of 3-4 Billing /Collection Specialists
Submit invoices with proper documentation to customers
Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
Facilitate ACH payments and ensure accurate application of payments
Process credit card payments and assist in posting
Enhance credit worthiness assessment and reduce delinquent accounts
Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards
Improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) across locations
Prepare timely reconciliations and month-end reports
Drive process improvements and system enhancements
Desired Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business preferred
Minimum 5 years of AR, Cash Applications, and/or Billing experience
Proficiency in ERP systems, with automation experience preferred
Strong understanding of general ledger processes
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Occasional travel to southeast locations required
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting software applications
Excel skills for spreadsheet management
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
