Job Title: Administrative Assistant to the Director of Digital Learning
Reports to: Director of Digital Learning Wage/Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: Clerical Pay 6
Dept. /School: Digital Learning Days: 227
Primary Purpose: Assist in the general operations and functions of the Digital Learning Department providing secretarial support.

Primary Purpose: Assist in the general operations and functions of the Digital Learning Department providing secretarial support.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Skill in typing and general office procedures, knowledge of computers and computer programs
- Ability to maintain effective system for organizing department materials
- Successful experience with secretarial responsibility in an office environment of school (at least 2 years preferred)
- Assist the Director of Digital Learning to facilitate the necessary flow of information among department and district department personnel.
- Positively greet visitors and assist in meeting their needs.
- Respond to telephone inquiries in a knowledgeable and polite manner, relay messages, make referral, record information and schedule appointments.
- Facilitate communication between the Director and district department managers.
- Prepare memos, forms and correspondence as requested for the department.
- Manage requisitions and maintain an accurate record system for purchases for the department.
- Maintain record of expenditures and keep current balance.
- Process department travel and maintain positive communication with other district departments when doing so.
- Maintain personnel records (sick leave/vacation) for department and keep files up to date.
- Order and maintain office and technical supplies for the department.
- Renew and track the district/department software support agreements, equipment maintenance agreements and technical support agreements in a timely manner.
- Act a department records management liaison.
- Engage in positive and productive teamwork with the administrative assistants to Information Technology and Information Systems to ensure division responsibilities are completed efficiently.
