We are seeking a Family and Health Coordinator to join our team in Vincennes, IN.
Who are we?
We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974. We serve migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment. We have 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve nearly 3,000 children each year.
Essential Functions
As a Family and Health Coordinator you will manage caseloads of families and children, conduct assessments/home visits, ensure center health/safety requirements are maintained, and be responsible for ensuring that children and families have a source of continuous and accessible healthcare (including dental and disability services.)
What you need to be qualified
Associate Degree in Human Services, Health Education, Social Work, or related with a minimum of two years of related experience working with families and their children providing basic coordination of family/health services.
Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle. Head Start Experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Starting Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 depending on experience
