Quest Corporation of America, Inc. (Quest) is seeking an experienced technology professional to serve in a Website Design/Development capacity statewide.
DESCRIPTION: As a Website Developer you will be essential for providing website services to support the mission and goals of Quest and external clients through contractual obligations. This includes comprehensive support and performance with Windows client/server networks, website design, development, and maintenance, and a wide range of software applications, as well as working across various online platforms and content management systems. This position requires knowledge and practices of current trends, applications, and network systems.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Provide crucial IT maintenance and security services for Quest website
Develop and design websites based on contractual obligations with Quest clients
Supports Quest’s contracts through the development and maintenance of project websites
Completes an assessment of the functionality and security of all Quest‐managed websites
Ensures all domains and hosting accounts are current for all Quest‐managed sites
Update and upgrade the Quest website www.QCAusa.com
Provide high‐quality customer service, dealing effectively and efficiently with clients and other content providers
Ensures website quality, performance, reliability, and safety internally and externally
Backup to IT Support Manager
Monthly progress reporting
Qualifications
Prior knowledge and experience in computer science, information systems, and/or network infrastructure
Strong research skills and understanding of data analysis
ADA Accessibility Standards
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Wordpress website development
Other website platforms or content management systems (CMS) (e.g., Joomla, Drupal, CivicPlus)
Coding languages (e.g., HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, SQL)
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant technological studies
Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with customers, peers, suppliers, and interdepartmental personnel
5 - 7 years of related work experience required in aspects of Website Development/Information Technology
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
