"If you are the leader of a technical team" 🛠 You should know what it is like to work with a protective helmet on your head and work safety boots on your feet in 40 degree heat! 🛠You should know what it means to climb a 100m cat ladder with 20kg of protective equipment on! 🛠In fact, you should know the distress of not being able to wipe your sweat with your grease-covered gloves while your forehead sweat soaks your work safety glasses and goes down to your chin! 🛠You shouldn't say "After all, he gets his overtime pay" to the technical employee you send from one job to another without asking "how are you?" 🛠 …………............................. ? A good technical leader must know the situation of his team, customers and products in his field.

Trying to get my foot back into factory/production tech/assembly line worker again! I love the work I like to work I seek overtime open availability hard worker follows line production detail orientated team helper product goal is key communication is key line lead is a role model not a dictator, I have no barriers that prevent me to work but one and i am.willing to go all lengths to make it NO BARRIERS. I am just a single mom of a recent graduate that is a home body that stays active doing projects chores hobbies etc. I am just looking for a 2nd chance and a company that helps their employees in any hardship they encounter and not let them fail bc of "company policy" Employees that are hard workers with compassion integrity and drive and shows the motivation to keep trying till u achieve it method, "the sink or swim" doers that show there potential are over looked, and under appreciated, and when one unexpected hardship situation is faced, they fight to do what they can and fail bc they fight alone. I want one company to show me they really stand behind their employees and not just benefits wise. I mean the 'go beyond lengths' to help employees succeed, maintain a job, utilizes every resource to help, and remembers where they once started in their career, at the bottom of the totem pole and remembers what they went thru in their hardships that of effected their employment.

When you sign up to TIMBYR, we are RELENTLESS in making your hiring process SEAMLESS. To do that, we get to know you PERSONALLY. We do this to find the perfect position for you that supports your career, your skill set, AND YOUR LIFESTYLE. It's NOT IDEAL to place a candidate in a position that has regular Saturday overtime when that Candidate needs Saturday's free for the kids footy game. Alternatively placing a candidate who is chasing overtime to save for a house deposit in a Monday to Friday role DOESN'T WORK either. It doesn't benefit the candidate OR the company. We know and value this importance. That's why we are personal. TIMBYR recruiters are MORE THAN just recruiters. We are Consultative, Personal, Reflective, and Supportive recruiters. We have secured a total of $332,964 in penalties in court in response to the underpayment of stadium cleaners. The outcome relates to 25 stadium cleaners being paid unlawfully low flat rates resulting in a total underpayment of $99,637, which has been back paid in full. We investigated after receiving an underpayment allegation through our online anonymous tip-off tool. Fair Work Inspectors made an unannounced late-night visit to the stadium to speak with cleaners and gather evidence. The investigation found that the 25 affected Etihad Stadium cleaners were paid flat hourly rates ranging from $7 to $23 per hour. This resulted in underpayment of entitlements under the Cleaning Services Award 2010, such as minimum ordinary hourly rates, casual loadings, penalty rates and overtime. A cleaning contractor was involved as an accessory in most of the underpayment contraventions. The subcontract amounts it paid to other cleaning contractors were not sufficient to enable the companies to provide the relevant cleaning services whilst meeting employees’ minimum award entitlements. The Judge found that all respondents had deliberately contravened workplace laws, noting that the cleaning contractor had admitted knowing the funds it paid the companies were insufficient to enable them to comply with the Award. A value packed commercial cleaning service delivered to all of our clients. Also a cleaning company that values training, mentoring and paying their team correctly.#commercialcleaning #commercialcleaningservices
This is a follow up from the other day - "this crap has to stop". If I told you that my thoughts are that most operators in our industry do not pay properly would you think I was exaggerating? Unfortunately I am not. Again, I implore you to check what a cleaning company tells you especially when it comes to "do they have employees?" Check their social posts for words like"competitive rates" Check for job ads they have that say "supervising the contractors" Ask for a copy of what they declare to WorkCover or the relevant body in your state - I reckon this one would stump most of them. I reckon if you asked the hard questions, some companies would run away, some may try to bluff you, however you will, if they are telling you false facts, find out. Then it is up to you, the client. Do you then care that your cleaners are underpaid, abused and to be honest "modern slaves?" Again, think what if it was someone you knew that was working part time to get themselves through Universetiy. Would you like them cleaning your site if you knew they would be underpaid? #modernslavery #fairwork #cleaning
