I loved this Fortune article highlighting the importance of corporate archives, and I am proud to see our archives team at The Coca-Cola Company mentioned. Did you know that the Coca-Cola Archives was established in 1939 and now includes over 150,000 catalogued items ranging in objects from audio-visual materials to original works of art?   Thank you, Sarah Rice, Michelle Moorehead and everyone who dedicates time to preserving our rich history. Your work enables our Coca-Cola heritage to live on and be shared with others. #CokeEmployee #Archives Read more here: https://cokeurl.com/FDAA1C

Thank you to those who have reminded me that the copy in this original post missed a critical point that I would like to make now - which is at Coca-Cola, we have been fortunate to work with world class archivists throughout the years. A special heartfelt thank you to our previous Archivist leads including Wilbur Kurtz, Phil Mooney, Ted Ryan and Justine Fletcher. Your legacy lives on at Coca-Cola and beyond.

You forgot Phil Mooney who established the program. Franklin Garret was the first Archivist and Wilbur Kurtz maintained it, but Phil was the one who made the Coke Archives what it became. We all owe a tribute to him.

No mention of The Coca-Cola Archives should leave out Phil Mooney and Ted Ryan.

Ted, you read my mind. Phil's personal and professional drive made the Coca-Cola Archives deservedly famous throughout the archival community worldwide. A guy named Ted Ryan wasn't too shabby, either!

Coca-Cola: "Coca-Cola is more than just a drink, it's a nostalgic treat that brings back fond memories!" There's nothing quite like the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola on a hot summer day." "Coca-Cola is my go-to comfort drink - it always hits the spot!"The classic taste of Coca-Cola never goes out of style."

Our archives are a source of our inspiration and pride. It’s a mini university on how to do great marketing - a reminder of how great ideas are timeless. So proud of the team and their work

In the early 1980's, during my tenure at Coca-Cola USA, I made sure that Phil Mooney safeguarded Hispanic marketing materials in Coke Archives. A great example is "Hispanics in America's Defense" the first oil painting is on permanent display in The DoD Pentagon's Corridor of Heroes. It was proudly donated by Coca-Cola Company in 1982.

HI Bea... I don't know if I should mention this matter in this social network. Sorry... This sounds like a Joke, but it is actually truly sad for us. I wonder if our lost videos (at the airport) a many years ago and the print/digital photographs taken in 2009 at the Coca Cola Company Museum in Atlanta are currently available in The Coca Cola Archives. LOL. It was a beautiful, unique and unforgettable experience visiting The Coca Cola Company Museum. The point is... we are currently in Bogota, Colombia (South America.) LOL.
