A hospital struggling to control waterborne pathogens installed a Sanipur SANIKILL® monochloramine disinfection system to help treat their potable water. Over 16 months, water samples from 15 hot water sampling sites and municipal water supplies were analyzed for microbial pathogens, including Legionella. After implementing the monochloramine system, Legionella culture assays decreased from 68% to 6%. Read the full evaluation by the EPA to learn more: https://hubs.li/Q02CFmmt0

Electrically Generated Hypochlorous Acid (EGHA) from Envirolyte is a superb legionella prevention disinfectant. It removes the underlying causes which are the Biofilm matrix & Scale, both of which act as a hiding place and breeding ground for legionella & other microorganisms. Once EGHA dosing is implemented, the buildings water systems will become free of legionella and any other harmful waterborne pathogens.

Do not drink raw cow or buffalo milk in India. It is not safe. You can become seriously ill. Here is a study of pathogens in raw milk samples from Coimbatore - https://lnkd.in/d3wc3Wje There is also an increased risk of Antibiotic-Resistant infections from raw milk. Here is a study on Antibiotic-resistant bacteria in bovine milk in India - https://lnkd.in/d4Fk_A5H On the other hand, there is no need to boil Pasteurized milk from dairies unless you suspect contamination due to improper packaging or damaged packaging. Pasteurized milk is safe to drink.

The challenge of eradicating waterborne opportunistic premise plumbing pathogens (OPPPs) such as Legionella, Mycobacterium, and Pseudomonas, requires innovative strategies beyond testing and remediations that an independent consultant such as Legionella Control Systems can provide. OPPPs pose a significant health risk, as evidenced by the estimated annual cost of diseases caused by these pathogens, amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars. These microorganisms thrive in drinking water systems, showing resilience to standard disinfection methods and the ability to form biofilms. That is why one of the options that Legionella Control Systems will consider for waterborne pathogen control is a multi-barrier approach combining ultraviolet (UV) systems, filtration and chemical treatment. https://lnkd.in/g_tV_y4d #uvtechnology #uvcdisinfection #biofilmelimination #waterpurification #healthcareengineering #facilitymanagement #legionella

In many cases, the benefits of carrying out routine legionella testing far outweigh the potential health and legal risks involved in not carrying out legionella testing. Routine legionella testing helps to safeguard the health and well-being of building occupants, tenants and visitors to any facility. Regular water sampling can significantly reduce the risks of an outbreak. The BS6700 specifies that microbiological activity should be measured every 6 months, where potable (drinking water) is stored. ACoP L8 recommends water sampling for Legionella: -Where a Legionella outbreak is suspected. -For biocide-treated systems, where storage temperatures are outside acceptable parameters. -For systems where control measures are not consistently achieved. -Water system users fall under a highly susceptible category for high-risk areas, such as hospital wards with immunologically compromised patients. You can contact us today to discuss water sampling for your business on 0800 121 8808 or visit us at www.ges-water.co.uk #WaterSampling #Legionella #GESWater #Aylesbury

When is routine sampling for Legionella appropriate? Water supplied from the incoming mains does not normally require sampling unless: • Water systems are treated with biocides where water is stored or distribution temperatures are reduced. • Where control is not being consistently achieved, e.g, where the target control parameters are not being met. • From areas subject to low usage, stagnation, excess storage capacity, and excessive heat loss. • Where there is a population with increased susceptibility. • If indicated by the risk assessment. • To provide supporting evidence that current control measures remain effective. • Water systems suspected or identified in a case or outbreak of Legionellosis (a generic term describing the pneumonic and non-pneumonic forms of infection from Legionella bacteria). Feel free to contact our team on 01255 724555 or [email protected] if you require our competent services to control the exposure to Legionella bacteria in your premises. #safewater #water #waterhygiene #watersafety #legionella #sampling #hygiene #compliance #healthandsafety #service

water sanitation. get rid of many diseases. maintain 1.5- 2.0 ppm chlorine level at nipple level. In my experience you will achieve good FCR with least cost. Use of lifegard T ( Sodium Di-chloro isocyanate) give hypochlorous acid in water, at 6.0--6.5 pH a good solution for many water borne diseases.
