Being a mother of two, I've always felt a sense of responsibility to instill in my kids the value of Mother Earth. My son was the main reason behind my ecopreneurial journey. The lack of sustainable stationery and fear of growing concrete jungles- led to the birth of Ecofriendly Jalebi. From my experience of 9yrs, I have jotted down below a few ways which we can use to instill sustainability in our kids:
♻ Teach children about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling to minimize waste and protect the environment.
♻Encourage kids to participate in activities such as gardening, composting, or picking up litter to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature.
♻Lead by example by demonstrating sustainable practices in your daily life, such as conserving energy, using reusable items, and choosing eco-friendly products.
♻Discuss the impact of climate change and pollution on the planet in age-appropriate ways to help children understand the need for sustainable living.
♻Explore nature together and highlight the beauty and benefits of preserving wildlife and natural habitats.
♻Engage children in discussions about sustainability issues and empower them to come up with their ideas on how to make a positive difference.
♻Support and praise their efforts in adopting sustainable habits, whether it's turning off lights when leaving a room or choosing to walk or bike instead of driving short distances.

Great point about sustainability and aesthetics. Scallop shells indeed bring a lovely, natural touch to any setting. How have you found their durability and usefulness compared to traditional materials?
