Slack is my work-BFF. Around 70% of my day is spent right there on the platform.
Picture this: as soon as I wake up, I'm diving into all the new messages that have come in. Of course, I'm not hitting that reply button or anything until I'm up and about. But here's the twist: this little routine was causing a bit of a message mix-up for me. I'd read things in the morning and then they'd slip my mind as the day got busier. Oops.
A while ago, Slack introduced this "save for later" feature, and it's been a game-changer. Now, I've got this reliable to-do list right on Slack. It's like my own personal task hub. I know exactly who's waiting for a response and what tasks I need to tackle head-on. And the coolest part: they let me set my own reminders, turning Slack into my ultimate task accomplice.
If I could add one little thing: I would love to add tasks without specifying time and date. Other than that, this is officially my new favorite feature.
BIG shout out to the product managers and engineers at Slack for building this awesome feature, allowing me to procrastinate effectively and do some things... later ✨
