We're wrapping up this week with 5 𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 we've learned from building products for our startup clients:
💡 Less is more in the early stages. Don't try overwhelming users with unnecessary bells and whistles, and focus on the absolute core functionality needed to solve the user's problem instead. Get user feedback, iterate, then scale from there.
💡 Similarly, improve continuously rather than aiming for perfection upfront. Embrace an iterative development process and learning from real user interactions for quicker time-to-market and product adaptability to evolving user needs.
💡 Validate, validate, validate. Viral growth only works if you can retain your users, so make sure you have a strong product market fit from the get-go. That's the magic.
💡 It starts with your target users. Master the art of talking to and listening to your users. Treat their feedback as gold and let it be the guide for your product's evolution so it actually solves a real-world problem.
💡 Design with growth in mind from day one, meaning choosing the right architecture, technologies, and infrastructure that can handle incremental growth. It doesn't have to be 100% perfect, but designing with scalability in mind helps reduce costly and time-consuming rebuilds later on.
To wrap it all up, be strategic, stay adaptable, and grow with your users. 🙌
