To commemorate World Milk Day (1st June), we invited our neighbours for breakfast and also organised an in-house cooking competition (well more like a blending competition 😁 if you get the drift). A few facts about milk: Milk is a nutrient-rich food that provides: - Protein for muscle growth and repair - Calcium for strong bones and teeth - Vitamins B12 and B2 for energy and nerve function - Potassium for healthy blood pressure - Some natural sugars (lactose) The amount of these nutrients vary, depending on the type of milk (whole, low-fat, skimmed, etc.).
