“Punch {Peterbilt}, no punch backs!”
On a recent road trip, as we always do, my husband and I took note of all the job sites, machines, and trucks we drove by.
It’s something he’s done his entire life. It’s something that I started doing about 6 years ago. That’s about the time I took off my blinders and noticed the Blue Collar industry.
Now that I purposefully look for these sort of things out on the road, I am able to APPRECIATE all that is being built around me.
But, we also make it fun. We don’t have kids yet, but I’m looking forward to putting a spin on a classic game many of us know. Let’s make it a Construction Edition.
I want more and more people to take off their blinders. We drove by a lot of shops and yards. (Some more organized than others🫢)To the untrained eye, they don’t look like much. But once you know what you’re looking at, there’s no going back. You’re breaking your neck to get a better look at their operation.
So, next road trip, are you looking for a Peterbilt….or a Kenworth….or maybe an excavator….or maybe a dozer….or maybe a paver?
What do you look for?
Who are you playing with?
P.S. Play at your own risk. Maybe set some ground rules when it comes to force, especially between siblings. 😂
