What lazy leasing agents do: 1. Make assumptions about the tenant 2. Reply to messages and emails late (if at all) 3. Disappear mid-way through negotiations 4. Don’t research the property 5. Rely on online marketing only What proactive leasing agents do: 1. Listen to the tenants 2. Always reply and communicate clearly 3. Lead negotiations until the deal is closed 4. Do their due diligence 5. Have multiple marketing channels to maximize exposure Who you hire matters. Agents that put their clients first will always come out on top.
