How to reduce the conflict of a new HMO tenant? Consider the existing dynamic of the HMO. Some of the best HMOs we have worked with are those which have a level of theming that works to actively attract similar tenants who are potentially more likely to get on. This isn't about excluding anyone but rather positioning your HMO as a particularly dynamic or house culture. That doesn't mean to say that different personality types definitely wouldn't work but you would be more likely to find a good fit from someone of a similar age and lifestyle to the existing group.

In a recent interview with The Globe and Mail, IMCO’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Bert Clark, discussed the significance of signing on four new clients to our portfolio.   Following a competitive evaluation process, IMCO was selected to provide investment management services to Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), Tarion Warranty Corporation, the City of Ottawa, and Ontario Clean Water Agency. We distinguished ourselves from competing bids by successfully demonstrating how our scale, capacity to make direct investments, and greater access to private market investing gives clients improved access to a broad range of investment opportunities, at an efficient cost.   Bert also described why the addition of these new clients is a vote of confidence for other public-sector pension plans or investment funds in Ontario to join IMCO.   “The reality is most public funds and public organizations don’t like to be first movers.
