The Panthers were able to take Game 1 3-0, and now they expect a big punch back from the Rangers.

Panthers head coach Paul Maurice said, “The mentality for us is you don’t take that deep breathe. It’s one game. and it was 1-0 with three minutes left to go. So this is going to be tight, very probably a long series, a grinder, it’s going to be fast at times, it’s going to be heavy at the walls at times. They have the emotional advantage tonight, we have to find a different way to get ours.”

One of the keys for the Cats was the strong play in goal of Sergei Bobrovsky.

Captain Aleksander Barkov said, “For him to work so hard and every single day its very contagious to our team and every single guy sees that.”

The puck drops at Madison Square Garden at 8 p.m.

Game 3 is Sunday at 3 p.m. in Sunrise.

Game 3 can be seen exclusively in South Florida on Local 10.
