Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) and the visiting The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX), saw Willis's basketball squad overcome The Woodlands by a tally of 52-44.

With the victory, Willis improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Wildkats travel to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX) to play the War Eagles in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, January 5. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Oak Ridge won 58-54 in their recent league challenge against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. The Woodlands will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record.
