Kentucky High School Basketball - Tates Creek trounces Nicholas County
January 7, 2012: Carlisle, KY 40311 The Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) basketball crushed the host Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), 56-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Commodores (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders go into the non-league outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Bryan Station was crushed by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 63-41, in a non-league outing.
The Bluejackets now hold a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellevue for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. Nicholas County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 65-22 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 6-10.
