Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Paul's Crusaders (Brooklandville, MD), 64-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount St. Joseph upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Gaels travel to Glenelg Country (Glenelg, MD) to clash with the Dragons in a MIAA A bout on Monday, January 12. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Glenelg Country lost 67-64 in their recent league bout against Gilman (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA B - Red challenge, on Tuesday, January 20. St. Paul's will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record.
