The Freedom Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Broad Run Spartans to 58 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Ridge for a Potomac contest on Tuesday, January 15. Freedom will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 57-34 league loss to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 7-6.

The Spartans (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Potomac contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Stone Bridge ran past John Champe (Aldie, VA), 74-62, in a league contest.
