Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils (Fork Union, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Hardy Cougars (Baker, WV), 45-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fork Union Military Academy upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Blue Devils host Hundred (Hundred, WV) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Hundred won 49-39 in their recent non-league bout against East Richland Christian (St. Clairsville, OH)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 14. East Hardy will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 58-36 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Cresaptown, MD).
