In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) basketball squad edged the visiting Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), by a count of 53-50.

The Maroons (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rockets go into the District 47 outing with a 7-4 record.

The Trojans now hold a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Allen County-Scottsville for a District 15 bout on Friday, January 20. Barren County will play a Patriots squad coming off a 60-53 non-league win over Logan County (Russellville, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 6-7.
