Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Mountain crushes Cactus Shadows

Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ), 94-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Wolves travel to Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Huskies in a 5A Northeast Valley bout on Monday, January 23. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Horizon won 64-27 in their recent non-league bout against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Falcons play the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley bout, on Monday, January 23. Cactus Shadows will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Firebirds go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 52-40 non-league win over Mountain View (Tucson, AZ).
