The Bourbon County Colonels basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Montgomery County Indians to 37 in the Colonels league triumph on Friday.

The Colonels now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Campbell County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Bourbon County will battle a Camels team coming off a 58-40 non-league win over Boone County (Florence, KY). The Camels record now stands at 14-5.

The Indians (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Lexington Catholic ran past Tates Creek (Lexington, KY), 53-50, in a league contest.
