January 20, 2020: Macomb, MI 48044 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) and the visiting Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI), saw Dakota's basketball squad overcome Western International by a tally of 70-60.
With the victory, Dakota improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 21. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. L'Anse Creuse North won 61-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI)
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Mumford Mustangs (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Western International will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Detroit Public Safety Academy (Detroit, MI).
