Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Minto Lakers (Minto, AK) and the visiting Tri-Valley Warriors (Healy, AK), saw Minto's basketball squad hold off Tri-Valley by a tally of 63-58.

With the victory, Minto improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Demoski (Nulato, AK) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 26. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Demoski lost 63-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri-Valley (Healy, AK)
