The Chaparral Firebirds basketball team (Scottsdale, AZ), dropped 48-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Wolves now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's for a 5A Desert Valley battle on Friday, January 28. Desert Mountain will battle a Knights team coming off a 68-55 league loss to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 8-12.

The Firebirds (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies come into the 5A Desert Valley battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Horizon dropped by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 75-73, in a league battle.
