Arizona High School Basketball - Horizon holds off Desert Mountain

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) and the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Horizon's basketball squad hold off Desert Mountain by a tally of 79-76.

With the victory, Horizon improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Friday, January 26. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. O'Connor won 73-60 in their recent league challenge against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ)

Next up, the Wolves confront the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley challenge, on Friday, January 26. Desert Mountain will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a 2-20 record after their 94-71 league loss to Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ).
