New Jersey High School Basketball - NV - Old Tappan tops Clifton
January 26, 2023: Old Tappan, NJ 07675 NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights (Old Tappan, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), 68-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, NV - Old Tappan upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Big North - National bout on Thursday, February 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 10-4.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Clifton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 39-32 non-league win over Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ).
