Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph crushes Proviso East
February 1, 2016: Maywood, IL 60153 St. Joseph Chargers (Westchester, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL), 76-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Proviso West (Hillside, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 2. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Proviso West lost 69-63 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)
Next up, the Pirates play the Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 4. Proviso East will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
